Oh, How I Have Missed These.

Happy 2013! Big news in our household: Baby number three is due in July! Life was feeling too routine and easy as soon as Charlotte started walking, talking, and being more independent so my husband and I thought, what better way to add a little chaos to our family than to add another baby. After the initial thoughts of feeling so blessed to get pregnant so easily and quickly (as was also the case with our first two), the dreaded first trimester symptoms hit – CONSTANT nausea, vomiting, exhaustion, light headedness, shortness of breath, and did I mention exhaustion? I’ve said it once, and I’ll say it again, ENJOY YOUR FIRST PREGNANCY. The kids have been spending a lot of quality time with Daddy at work, potty training at Grandma’s, and holiday baking with Aunt Anna, and I’m eternally grateful for all of that.

I have to admit, my babyQ score is suffering right now because I have no energy to work out and no appetite (come on, second trimester!) but figure I have a lot of making up to do once I’m feeling better. I’ve been living on scrambled eggs and homemade, yogurt-based, fruit and veggie smoothies. Working out consists of pushing two rambunctious kiddos in a cart at Target…buying everything we need along with everything we don’t. I’m 10 weeks along, so I’m hoping only a couple more weeks of feeling like I am so I can get around to my endless to-do list before baby number three arrives.

One thing that always brightens my nausea-filled days? PREGNANCY PARKING SPACES.
